Trying to economize a bit and looking at all the different books that I need. So, I'm doing Bigger with extensions so do I need: Extension pacakage, storytime package for Bigger, and books for DITHOR? It all looks good but I'm wondering if we can get through all those books this year!
Thanks,
Shannon

I too had to economize and chose instead of buying to rely on the library for extension books, storytime books, and DITHOR. I know there are some books that I may look into purchasing in the future because they are good reads, but the library can really help out when trying to economize. The extension was too much for my dd8 (coming out of ps) and we chose to stop doing the extension for now. I bought the extension clp history textbook and the extension science textbook, but am relying on the library for all the rest.

Hi Shannon - that's exciting that you are going to order and get your HOD goodies soon!

Yes, that is what you would need (I'm assuming you're also ordering the Economy Package, Economy Science Adder, Basic Package, and Cursive)

. Of the sets you've listed above, if you are going to economize, you may want to get your DITHOR books from the library. They will be the easiest to find at the library, and if your library doesn't have one of the titles, you can easily sub in a different title (from either another DITHOR book pack or from the sample book ideas list). Also, you read each DITHOR title for 15 days, which will work well with traditional library due dates. That being said, I highly recommend getting the books if you can. We used to use the library with minimal luck - due to late fees, books I needed being checked out, snow days - you name it - we had trouble using our library. BUT, that is probably due more to me and my family's situation than anything, so you may be able to use your library very successfully.

Have fun ordering your things - Bigger Hearts is a joy to teach!
In Christ,
