Have you used it, and if so, how did you like it?
i think the format would work well with my 1st grader. I used Ordinary Parent's Guide with my other child, and it worked for him, but i don't know it would suit my daughter as well. anyone that could compare/contrast the two programs? thanks!

Re: Reading Made Easy
I don't know about the other one, but I LOVE RME! I started it with my almost 5yo and we're going strong as we get ready for Kindergarten. We took a 3 month break and he didn't need review of any sort when we started back. There are workbooks as well that my ds loves! It's a fun, effective program

Re: Reading Made Easy
I used RME with my dd, 5 and she is now reading very. I 'm very happy with RME, it is scripted, which is great for a novice, like me, and it is full of activities which you can pick and choose from depending on your child's abilities. My only regret is that the workbooks came out after we were done with the program. I will definitely use the workbooks with my ds when he is ready to learn to read. Best wishes.
