A couple of days ago, my family and I went to the Thornton W. Burgess Museum while in Cape Cod visiting my Mother-in-law. It was such a lovely place! The lady who worked there was quite impressed that Evelyn (and Joshua....he listens in) knew all the characters.
Here are some pictures of our HOD "field trip".

Here is the museum and was the house he lived in.

"Mr. and Mrs. Petter Rabbit" aka Evelyn and Joshua!

This was neat...it was a glassed-in 3-D scene of "The most beautiful thing in the World" from Mother West Wind.

This was a little hole in the wall that you had to look into to view the inside of Farmer Brown's chicken coop....sorry it is a bit dark, but then i WAS a hole in the wall.

Peter Babbit

The Peter Rabbit weather vain

My husband's favorite part....watching the bees....he was facinated!

A close up of the queen (she is the large one with the green spot on her back)

Getting ready to leave.

And just to prove that I really was there....
