Just wanted to hop on and say that I've been doing Beyond Little Hearts with my 6.5 year old (and 5 year old sitting in), for over a week. It's wonderful. We've had absolutely no problem getting into it. We school year round, so I can be a bit more relaxed. I am trying to alternate things each day with my son. But, for me personally as a mom, I am enjoying the history and science aspects so much. We are ALL having fun! I also love that that biblical teaching is interwoven into so much of it. Most of all, the Lord has used this cirriculum to remind me and encourage me that I *can* really teach my kids well, even though I have a profound special needs child, as well as the needs of other children to meet.

I totally agree with you about Beyond! We are on week 28 and are just as in love with it as at first. It is a wonderful program that is full of fantastic stories that teach such fabulous life-lessons. My 7yo ds wrote a beautiful poem about God looking down on His creation. I mean - this poem was great! I didn't ask him to do it. He just composed it on his own. It blew me away. It came as a natural result of spending lots of time copying beautiful poetry. It reaffirmed for me that the CM method works - just give it time to grow. I'm glad you are enjoying it. You have a lot to look forward to as you progress!
