Does anyone know where we can find ...?

My ds just finished up Beyond last week. He is very excited. He really enjoyed the book Key to the Treasure by Peggy Parrish. He wants to get his hands on the other 3 books in the Liza, Bill, and Jed mysteries. I have looked at the library with no luck and a few bookstores. Does anyone know where I can find these books? My son claims to be "not really a book-kind of person", but I'm really wanting to encourage any spark of interest he exhibits. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Have you tried Amazon? They seem to have everything. prices vary greatly but always have a 3.99 shipping so you have to be careful. How about CBD.com
Does your library have that service that checks with all libraries in the area. I know ours covers three counties and often we are able to find books.
Good luck

I like half.com better than amazon. When i ordered from amazon, they charged me the full $4 shipping on every single item, even though I Was very careful to be sure I used the same seller for many items. I went over to half.com and entered very carefully items from the same sellers- and the first items was $4 shipping, but the second item from teh same seller was only $2 shipping-- so I saved overall.

I recently discovered allbookstores.com - it will search amazon, ebay and a variety of other used & new book websites for whatever book you type in, and sort the results by price. I sometime look for the isbn # on amazon, then search by isbn on allbookstores, and it will find it if it's "out there." I also am part of Paperbackswap.com, and I just checked and there were a couple of other Liza, Bill Jed mysteries available. You post books that you want to send away, and when someone requests them you pay postage to mail it (around $2-2.50) and that earns you a credit with which you can order any available book. The sender always pays the postage. You can also make a wishlist for books if they get posted into the system eventually. They give you 2 free credits for posting your first 10 books. It's a great way to find books, and much less expensive. (and if you sign up, say that krismoose referred you

)

I found and got all the others in this series from paperbackswap.com. If you are not a member, and you have some books to get rid of, this might be a good time to try it! Hope you find them!

Thanks so much for the help!!! I will try the sites that you all mentioned. I did try Amazon, and in my ignorance, and paid the $3.99 shipping before reading the posts. I only ordered one, so I'll definitely try the paperback swap, half price, and all books site next time. My son in so excited!!!
