Dictation samples in Bigger and CTC

I have the Preparing manual, which has dictation at levels 2, 3, and 4. Does Bigger have level 1, or does HOD start at level 2 for dictation? Also, does CTC have levels 5 and 6? Thanks!

I think HOD starts with level 2 in Bigger.

Prior to level 2 dictation passages, there are two years/lists for spelling.
List 1 is typically a first grade list and list 2 is typically a second grade list. After that kiddos head into the first level of dictation passages which begin at Level 2 in Bigger. CTC will include passages for Levels 3, 4, and 5. Dictation is quite an advanced skill and does not match grade level. My very strong academically oldest son did Level 5 this past year in grade 7.
