Using English 3 in Bigger

I will be using Bigger Hearts with my third grader next year. She has already completed the second grade rod and staff english book, so I will be using the english 3 book next year. I looked through the book today and there are basically 140 lessons (including 2 review lessons and 1 test for each unit). How can I stretch out the lessons to finish the same time we finish the bigger hearts program (170 days)? Should I pick 30 worksheets to use throughout the program so I do one lesson a day? Does all this make sense? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd just do R & S 3 for four days a week. Bigger Hearts has a 35 week plan, 4 x 35 = 140, so that would work out great, and give you a day off each week to boot! :D

Thanks for the suggestion! I will plan on doing english 4 days a week, which will mean english will get done when the other stuff is done too.

Ahhh...I was planning a R&S3 lesson to go with each lesson of Bigger. Good to know I can cut out one! Do we do the poetry and any writing lessons? (I haven't looked into the book enough to know how much of that is even in this level).

I am planning on doing all the lessons with the two reviews at the end of each unit. I am not planning on doing the extra activity or peom work. We will also be doing each unit test too. by doing this four days a week we will finish the book when we are done with all the work in Bigger.
