Box day will not come quick enough!
Sheila - I ordered everything for LHFHG and PHFHG for my 5 (soon to be 6 yo) dd and my 8 (soon to be 9 yo) ds. I did not order the science because we are going to do Apologia Zoology 1 - but I ordered everything else and DITHOR.
I hope that was everything, but according to others, its addicting:)
I am looking forward to next year, I hope since I am getting it early, I can hold myself back for wanting them to do some work:)
Thanks!

Watch out! You'll want to start right after you open it! AND you can! We are also doing Preparing - planning to start in the fall! The deluxe package books for the newly independant reader are just wonderful. We are also just as trilled with what we will be reading in the extension package! My boys were full of smile when I showed them. It's hard to put the books up and keep on with what we still need to accomplish before embarking upon the Preparing adventure!

Ooh, Ladies! I'm so excited that you are excited about heading into Preparing Hearts and Little Hearts. We did that exact combination at our house this past year and had a great year. We finished about 2 weeks ago.
Today, my second son was just going through his binder of things he'd done in Preparing this year and was retelling to our babysitter (who usually comes once a week in the evening so my hubby and I can go out) all about his medieval feast this past year. We did it months and months ago, and he was reliving it in detail with joy. You'll make so many wonderful memories with LHFHG and Preparing, and your kiddos will look back on their school days fondly.
Blessings,
Carrie

Christmas came for me today ladies! It was great! I LOVED going through everything! My ds and dd spent an hour looking through all of their books! I am so excited! My dd who is going into LHFHG wanted to start doing some of her "work"! My ds who is going to be doing PHFHG was enthralled with the Ice Age book!
If the had not just finished their school year (from a Private Christian School) I would start them, however, I really feel that we need to take the summer off and start "fresh" in the fall.
Just wanted to share my excitement, pure joy, and confirmation from the Lord that homeschooling is what our family should be at this season of our lives.....
Ahhh....the Blessings he bestows upon us......

How exciting!

We did LHFHG and PHFHG last year too, and our portfolios are also bulging with great memories of the year! I'm so glad your boxes came right away - HOD's known for super fast shipping. Enjoy!
