DITHOR question about materials

I have been aquiring materials here and there as I have been able. I do not have the DITHOR stuff yet. Today I noticed in the catalog that there are alot of 'other' things that I never saw on line- like the English program is listed there- but there are 2 different ones listed- are you supposed to choose just one or do you need both? (language lessons and Rod and Staff....) In the individual packages for different texts, I only see Rod and staff listed- so it seems I should just go with Rod and Staff as I can use it in both areas???

Also, I see Ignite your writing listed and I see a projects book-- are these necessary? Are they incorporated or something you have to incorporate on your own?

I am not sure i am understanding how these fit in since I wasn't really seeing these within the programs I was looking at didn't include these?

Some people only use DITHOR and not the other HOD materials. So, those other LA items are there for them. You can choose the projects book though to go with the level of DITHOR you are doing. So, to do DITHOR, all you need is the Teacher Guide, Student Worktext, Books, and opt. Project book. For LA in the HOD guide, you would need R&S for that.
