Will my old paperback CHOW work with Preparing

I have the paperback version of Child's History of the World that I got about 8 years ago from Sonlight. Will it work with Preparing or do I need to get the other version?

You need the edition that HOD sells. I believe it is a 1997 edition. It contains additional chapters, especially towards the end as you get into more modern history. We have only used the older editions in the past. I hope the newer one retains Hillyer's writing style.
