Can you tell me a little about Reading Made Easy? I tried to do a search but I guess the words are too common and nothing came up.
Would this program work well with a wiggle worm?
Once completed would the Emerging Readers set be next?
Do you supplement with readers (ie Bob Books or something similar) or is this unneccessary?
Before trying yet *another* reading program, I would like to make sure it seems like a good fit.
Thanks!!

Re: A few questions about Reading Made Easy
I'm using it with my pre-K BOY...so yes, wiggle worms welcome I'm also test driving the new workbooks and I think she's got them available now, or will this month. They are GREAT! My ds5 loves them and they go so well with the lessons and are fun. There's no need to add readers since there is real practice reading in the lessons that incorporates the new skill and reviews old ones. (Not just words, but sentences with a picture they get to see AFTER they read it). And yes, emerging readers would be the next step.
I LOVE RME!! It's the best I've found for us and we're tried several!

Re: A few questions about Reading Made Easy
It's in Cathy Duffy's Top 100 Book picks, which is a great stamp of approval! It does have active components for your wiggle worm - index cards are made and moved around, etc. Yes, the Emerging Reader's Set comes next, whenever your little one is ready to read books like Frog and Toad or Amelia Bedelia. It's not necessary to supplement with readers, but the Bob Books are super cute and easy to add if you'd enjoy that.3whizlets wrote:Can you tell me a little about Reading Made Easy?
