Hello everyone!
I just ordered my 1st order from HOD today, and I am so excited to get the things in the mail! It's like a kid waiting for Christmas or a birthday.
Anyhow I just wanted to say HEllo and hope you don't mind me asking advice, as I am sure I will be.
Be blessed ladies it is great to finally be part of the group.

Welcome Mamma Joy!
(I
Love that username, btw!)
We're new to HOD this year as well and I can hardly wait to start in August. You'll find an immense amount of encouragement on this board. It's truly like no other.
May He richly bless your homeschool this year...

Hi
we have just started using LHTH and its such a blessing to use. Both my little one and I are having a great time using it and he is already starting to pick up letters and sounds which I wasnt really expecting as he is only 26 months old and not talking that well yet.
Welcome to the boards

Soo -Thanks for sharing about your little one enjoying LHTH! What a smart little guy to pick up his letters and sounds so quickly - you are going to have a super time this whole year with LHTH. I am getting ready to do LHTH a third time with my youngest son, and the thought still is exciting to me.
In Christ,
Julie

Joyanna,
I hope "Christmas" comes tomorrow for you!
We live in the country...so we notice
every vehicle that goes down our road. My youngest, Garret, was thrilled when the UPS man came this week. (No HOD box day here yet...but birthday presents for Alli-gal who will be 5 Saturday!) Anyway, he's been telling everyone, "Guess what?! The CRP man came to our house... Is that right, mom?" And, I have to remind him it's UPS. (CRP is the acronym for Conservation Reserve Program - the fields of tall grass around here that are left that way to prevent erosion.
I guess we visit the CRP more than we get anything UPS.)
Have fun with your new books!
Kathleen
