Rod and Staff schedule in 4 day programs

How are the Rod and Staff books scheduled in the 4 day programs? Do you finish a book in a year by doubling up on lessons, not finish the book, or continue with the book the next year?

My daughter did R&S 3 this year and we have ended school for the year. Phew! However, we didn't finish the book. I'm not sure if I should pick up where I left off or just start R&S next year. We have 1 1/2 units left. We are doing Bigger next year. I will be using the R&S 2 schedule that is included with my other daughter but will have to schedule my older daughter's lessons anyway.

What should I do? Will she miss something if we move to R&S 4 or do they review concepts. R&S 3 was relatively easy for her so I'm not concerned about it being over her head.

Thanks!

I would just pick up where I left off and then move into the new book.

So, I'm just wondering is that how it is scheduled in the 4 day programs? They just pick up in the grammar book where they left off the year before.

I'm not sure, we haven't made it up to the 4 day guides yet. Maybe someone using Preparing this year could chime in.....

Jenny,

In Preparing Hearts an entire book of Rod and Staff is scheduled to be completed. It actually works on a 4 day plan without any doubling up. The option of either Rod and Staff English 3 or 4 is provided in the Preparing plans. :D
