I think I figured out how I want to do it.

As you know, I have been deciding whether to keep my Seth in Little Hearts which I chose so that I could combine him with his younger brother. I was surprised that "Little Hearts" was too difficult for the younger brother and ended up needing to order "Little Hands" for him which left me in a lurch, because had we known that Jacob (5yo) would go into "Little Hands" we would have chose Beyond for Seth.

I've been praying and seeking counsel and getting great feedback about whether or not to bump up to Beyond or to go ahead and do "Little Hearts" with him since we own it for everything except math. (we were using Beyond just for Math and LA)

The Lords timing was perfect. Because my friend Niki came over today. (She will be a Hoodie next year  )

She is a former teacher and has great problem solving skills. I had e-mailed Carrie and got her feedback and Nik was able to read it and think it through.

She suggested going to CBD to look at the books from Beyond and then to look closely at the books I bought for Little "hearts". This REALLY helped. I could see that we should bump Seth up to Beyond. One thing I don't think I shared was that though he is 7 he turns 8 in March, so I think that makes a big difference! He is an older 7
:D

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!! I should get my "Little Hands Monday or Tuesday and I'll place my order for Beyond. I should be set  (I hope  )

Mary,

What a wonderful friend you have! That is just what I need when I am trying to sort through things. My poor sisters are my sounding boards so often. Yet, that talking through with a kindred spirit really brings you to the peace of knowing what you need to do! :D

I am so glad that you will get your boys placed just where they need to be. I know the placement takes time, but the fit is worth the brain power.

Enjoy the journey!

Blessings,
Carrie

How great that your friend was able to help! And a duh! moment you would think somebody would have suggested looking at Amazon at the books in the next level. It really does help to see what the books are like and if they will work. I am hoping we will be able to start soon either next week or the week after.

I'm glad you have it figured out. :D YAY!

That's always a relief to be confident in what you are doing. I am sure Seth will love Beyond and be ready for Bigger next year.
