We really like the Eggleston books we've been reading this year in Bigger. Does anyone know if there are other Eggleston books that would go along with the Beyond history lessons?

There is a third Eggleston book entitled History of the United States and Its People. It is available through Rainbow Resource Center. They list the grade level as 7 - Adult. The description in the Rainbow catalog says it starts with Columbus and ends in 1888. It has 60 chapters, over 400 illustrations and maps and study questions.

LeeAnn,

Donna is right! The third Eggleston book is much harder than the two other Eggleston titles used within Bigger Hearts. I do love Eggleston's style of writing and had a hard time putting the books down myself! :D

Blessings,
