Help me pick books for BLHFHG

Post by mrsrandolph » Mon Apr 27, 2009 6:21 pm

I am having trouble deciding which books to order for BLHFHG! It does not matter to me whether they are girls interest, boys interest, or classics as I have both a boy & a girl who will be listening. : )

Please tell me your favorites!! That might help me decide!

Thanks!

So far, we've only read Helen Keller and A Lion to Guard Us, and we love them both. That's with 3 kids, one boy and two girls...both books have held their interest highly.

Well, my kids have enjoyed the Gladys Aylward biography, Benjamin West and his cat Grimalkin, Little House in the Big Woods, Trumpet of the Swan, Charlotte's Web, and A Lion to Guard Us. I have an 8yo boy and 6yo Girl and they both enjoyed the books.
