Do I only need one note book for copy work or I think I seen there's composition somewhere too? Is it better to have full lines or space for lines and to draw a picture?
I'm off to wal-mart later. My understanding is I need a notebook (or 2), 3 ring binder (what's going in this?), index cards and holder. I already have a globe and US map. Anything else I should grab?

You should be fine with the supplies you've listed (as long as you have your basic art supplies as well - like crayons, markers, washable paint, a paintbrush or 2, glue, paper punch, some yarn, stapler, tape, scissors, etc.). You may want to get some glitter and a 9 x 12 pack of colored construction paper. We've used copy paper and wide-lined notebooks. Two notebooks would be more than enough.

If you don't have a dry erase marker board and dry erase markers (and an eraser), you may enjoy those as well. We've used that for the grammar lessons on Day 5 of the BLHFHG plans. They are not necessary though - just nice to have.

We've also enjoyed having a container to move the basic art supplies from table to table, and room to room. We've used an art box before, or else we used the Pampered Chef tool turnabout for the past couple of years. Of course, that's just an extra idea too - not truly a necessity. Have fun shopping!
In Christ,
