Phonics Help-Reading Made Easy

Post by Candice » Fri Apr 24, 2009 10:03 am

I am looking for some input about this program as I am considering using it. I would be interested in any info you can provide.
We are currently using The Reading Lesson, and while I think it is great, my daughter is not connecting with it at all. We are about 1/3 through TRL and for the most part, it has been an uphill battle getting that far.
I am at the point where I have researched just about every phonics program out there, and have concluded that I really want to keep it simple and effective. No complete phonics/LA programs at this point, just a great phonics program that can lead my daughter to the point of readiness for the emerging readers as prescribed by HOD.

Thank you for any input!

Candice,

I haven't used Reading Made Easy...so I'm not much help to you. Here is a thread from a week or 2 ago. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3405&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Tamara had samples of a writing workbook to go along with RME. I'm sure that some other moms here who have used RME will let you know what it's like.
