Sharing Bigger extension with 3 or more kids, anyone?

For those that are having three or more read the same extension pack book could you share what you are doing? Just wondering if anyone has a good schedule for this. I have one lightening fast reader, one medium to fast, and one slow to medium reader. Any one have a plan that is working? I am trying to avoid buying another set of books at this point. Thanks.

water2wine,
It would work well to schedule the kiddos to read the extension pack book at 3 different times of the day so that no one is waiting on someone else to finish. For example, I'd lean toward having one read it first thing in the morning, one mid-morning, and one after lunch. I would have them keep the same order all year if possible, so they know who has the book when. If they could keep the book in a common place so everyone knows where to return it and get it each day that would help too.
Blessings,
Carrie

Hello water2wine,
I'm using Bigger extension with 2. One is a faster reader. I am trying the work box station idea and have found that I only need 1 work box station for my older 2! The only rule is that they cannot work out of the same work box at the same time. It's working! The work box station simply keeps them neat and the books that they share coming back to the "right" spot when they are done versus stuck up in their bed or outside on the porch or you know! Because I wanted to keep things very CM and because they are older I allow them to choose what they want to work on. Also keeping to a CM approach I have asked them to limit their time per "subject/workbox" to 30 minutes which is more than enough time with the exception of Math to which they make themselves stop put it down and move on to something else and then later come back for another 30 minute session. Believe it or not by forcing them to schedule their time to 30 minute slots for their independent studies has actually made them more efficient in getting things done - even math. One child used to take most of the day at his math lessons. He now will take between 2 and sometime 3 -30 minute slots. (He is doing TT Math 7 & all the problems.)
I love using th extensions! It has given them indpendence and responsibility and we are all enjoying the "success"! The work box system is just an aid as we are all natural clutterbugs!

Thanks! Just wanted to say this is what we are doing and it has not even been an issue when I got out of my head and just did it. I am surprised but it actually works very well. Three kids all reading the same book, no problem. Who would have thought!
Also Julie thank you for that suggestion. I have a spot where all the books go and surprisingly it really does work. I have them all color coded on the spine so if one ever gets out of place it is easy to find. That has also been a life saver in our house. Thanks for the advice.
