I have a 1st grader and 2nd grader. I have decided to use Beyond for my second grader. I am still trying to decide wether to use Little Hearts with my 1st grader or put him in Beyond with my second grader. I have looked at the charts and still can't decide. They will be 6 and 8 when we start. If I put him in Little Hearts then I will be doing 2 different programs. How hard is it to do two different programs? I know it would be easier for me to combine them but, I don't wnat to do it just for my sake. Any advice will help me sort this out.
Thanks so much,
Tonia

It is entirely possible to do Beyond with both kids. You'd do the left side of the guide together (history, science, Bible memory, etc) and get the correct reading/phonics, math, and handwriting books for their ages to correspond with the right side of the guide. They would do the same story time but the rest of the right side would be based upon their grade level and done individually. It would make it much easier on you. Hope this helps.

I am using Beyond for 1st grade for my dd(6) this year. Depending on the placement chart , I think it would be a good fit.

I would say DEFINITELY put them both in the same guide...for sure!!! You have the added benefit of homeschooling children that are only 1 grade apart. My kids are in K/1st this year and we did LHFHG together. Next year we are doing Beyond together. My 1st grader has been in Beyond for a while now for the right side with math and emerging readers schedule! It's very easy to be in two guides at once for the right side.
