Am I dreaming or is this curriuclum listed in one of the HOD passages? If it is, can someone help me locate it again?

Thanks,
Shannon

Hi! I found Igniting Your Writing under the Language Arts recommendations when I was looking at the DITHOR program. Hope this helps!

Okay, one last question...

Thank you Carrie and everyone else who has answered my questions. I'm "this close" to ordering but I have one more question :)

I have decided to go with Bigger for my 9 and 10 yr. olds. I don't want to "ruin" HIH by using the right side now for my oldest daughter who's quite gifted in language arts. So, even though Writing with the Best looks really good (actually I was researching a writing program and it lead to this website, HOD!) .... would I be alright going with Ignite Your Writing for next year and save Writing with the Best for the following year? Would I use Level 1 or Level 2 of IYR? Thanks so much!

:D Shannon,

I agree that you could wait to do Write with the Best with your 10 year old and instead do Igniting Your Writing. I'd start with Igniting Your Writing I, as it is the first book in the series and lays a good foundation in more creative type writing. Vol I. does include 3 levels of instruction within each lesson, so you can easily choose whichever level suits your child best within Vol. I as you go. The Teacher Notes in the back of the book and are very helpful. 8)

Blessings,
Carrie
