I'm Official!!!

I just ordered Little Hands To Heaven for my 1 and 4 year old. Well, mostly for my 4 year old. I also ordered Beyond for my 1st and 2nd graders. We actually stopped doing the curriculum we've used for the last 2 1/2 years, shipped it all back and used the money to purchase our programs. I'm hoping to ebay a whole pile of my other curriculum stuff so I can preorder the Hearts for Him for my 4th grader really soon. Until then she is just gonna continue on with her math program and help me with the smaller ones. I can't wait to get my curriculum in the mail!!! :D

Thanks everyone! What are we called, HODDIES, or something like that? LOL!!! How do you pronounce that anyway? It is sorta like hotties??? :lol:

Welcome! I am so excited for you. Some people do like to pronounce it the way you say. There is kind of a funny story about it. I actually started that one and I had never considered that pronunciation. It was sort of the saying that stuck and went from person to person. It's actually kind of funny I thought I was talking to Julie (the editor for HOD and Carrie's sister) on another board but it was not her at all, it was someone else with her log in here :oops: and she did not know what I was talking about so I said to her something about how we both are HODies (meaning belonging to HOD at the time of course :lol: ) to try to get her to understand my point thinking of course it was Julie I was chatting with and as you can imagine the person had no idea what I meant. :oops: And from there it kind of stuck. I am glad something good came out of it in my mind we are all H(long O)Dies and I never considered the other interpretation but I am pretty sure the other person since they did not know I was talking about HOD :oops: did, hahaha! And I think a lot of the ladies here like that pronunciation. :wink: But it is whatever floats you boat, you pronounce it however you want :D and Welcome Official HODie. You are going to love it! And congratulations for starting out with it. That is so wonderful! :D

I'm so excited for you! We are heading into Beyond and LHTH next year with my 2 younger kiddos, after going through them with my older son before! :D We pray you'll enjoy them as much as we have.

My best friend actually ordered Bigger a month or so ago after hearing me talk about HOD for a months. Has been using A beka, but she really is beginning to fall in love with Bigger. She is so excited about my order coming this week. She is coming for a visit with her kids next week and is hoping my stuff is here so we look through it all together.
