How hard is it to teach two programs at the same time? I am thinking of using Bigger hearts for HIs Glory for my third grader and Little hearts for His Glory for my kindergartener next year. I will also have a 4, 2, and newborn at home. Will this be doable? Thanks

Many people have taught or are teaching Bigger and Little Hearts together. :D I am right now. It's not difficult to teach both. I think the general consensus has been to start one program for a bit, then add the second. I started both at the same time and it still works...

I'm doing Bigger and Little together now too...p;us sometimes LHTH w/my ds2.5. Also, I still have time to add my extras in :D (Foreign language, art study, music study, English From the Roots Up, Conversation With Character) Oh, and dd does some of the extension books as well. It's very doable!! :D

We did it that way last year. It worked well for our kiddos and for me. We still finished on time and had time to enjoy the rest of our day. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

We did Bigger Hearts and Little Hearts last year and had a great year! I always like the idea of starting 1 program first, and then adding the other. Or, just doing each of them half-speed for 2 weeks. Either one of those options let you ease into it. It's also been helpful for me - as far as organization goes - to have 2 separate tubs for the 2 different dc's programs. I had a TON of doctor's appointments for our baby when I did BHFHG and LHFHG, and I was able to get it done no problem. I think you can definitely do it. I would look ahead to combining your 2 and 4 yo down the road - that should keep it manageable long-term, as each HOD program becomes more independent each year.

In Christ,
Julie :)
