A few questions....
As it is looking, and I don't see any way around it.
... It is looking like we will be finishing HOD at the end of our 7th
grade year, instead of 8th. So... my question is are any of you doing the same, and do you know what you are going to be using for your 8th grade year? Carrie, do you have any ideas for this too?
I was looking at trying to drag my feet and do everything 4 days a week and start each new year with a little bit of the last years book, but I just don't know for sure. I know that I have a ways to go, but planning this with a year gap, is kind of hard.
As it looks right now, I am finishing up LHFHG with my 5 1/2 year old and 6 1/2 year old. The older will be able to move on with no problem, but my younger, I just don't see her ready to move on to Beyond. I have thought about going slower, but there are so many things that she doesn't seem like she can understand fully, or be mature enough for yet. And, techniqually, she will be in K this fall, so I don't really want to push it too much. My question is should I wait a year until Beyond with her? If I do that, I will eventually, have one is LHFHG, one in Beyond and one Bigger all at the same time. Is that manageable? I want her to be able to get the most out of the program, so I am just frustrated as to what to do. And, then if I don't do Beyond with her, then what do I do?
