We had to split the last unit into two weeks so we just made the ice cream today. I thought I'd share our video:

I admit that your voice is not what I imagined in my head (yes, most of y'all have "voices" to match your posts .....please tell me I am not the only crazy one???)

Your boys are SO precious! Thanks for sharing them with us. When we did Beyond my boys loved making ice cream so much that they made another batch for their daddy at supper that night!

Mary - I loved your video, too! How fun! I was just thinking the other day that I need to video my kids period...before they're all grown up! My sister suggested videoing them reading, and then doing it again in 6-9 mo. so that we could look at the progress.

Kelly - Yes, everyone has voices in my head, too. So, either we're "normal" or both crazy!

Thanks for sharing that with us, Mary! I know that if I'd gone through the trouble of bringing cows to the New World, I'd certainly expect some ice cream for my efforts.

You are truly blessed to have such wonderful boys!

Carrie- The boys did want to make it for daddy too!

Jen- I Agree, I think they DESERVED ice cream

Kathleen- I am terrible at video taping. I scrapbook, but it's not the same thing. With my oldest being 17 now, it's the one thing I regret. I wish I had taped more often

In my head your voice was a little deeper, with a little bit of a huskiness to it. I guess I gave you the voice of the director of my homeschool co-op.

That would be one of the fun things of everyone meeting...everyone is so differnt than the way you imagine them. Some of my dearest friends I met online years ago on a Christian Marriage forum, and 2 years ago we all met in person and had a blast! And each one of these ladies sounded different or looked different (even though by that point we had seen dozens and dozens of pictures of each other....but sometimes pictures don't do justice ya know? Or facial expressions/body language.). And now we are all amazinly good friends IRL!
