A few ?'s before I order (English, Cursive, Extension)

So, before I order, help me with the final details:
ENGLISH:My 4th grade girl will have completed most of Primary Language Lessons by Emma Serl (the first book). She has also done a little bit, but not a whole lot of Growing with Grammar..(I could do more with this for the remainder of the year if needed)...My second grade boy has had no grammar. Does it make more sense to do English level 2 with both of them together, and together from here on out? or should I put my younger in level 2, and my older in level 3? I've not used Rod and Staff yet, so need your thoughts here.
CURSIVE: what grade do we recommend starting cursive? I had always thought 3rd grade, and so was planning on giving my son another year to solidify his print. Does this sound fine?
EXTENSION: There is a schedule for the extension books, correct? And about how much time is estimated for the child to read these selections?
Thanks ya'll! I love it when the decision is made!
