Good morning,

I'm revisiting cursive handwriting with my 12 yo son. We just began cheerful cursive. My 12 yo prefers to write in a font size much smaller than is practiced in Cheerful Cursive. I could pass the book onto his 10 year old brother to utilize, if there was an alternate or what would you suggest? Should I simply skip ahead to the end where the writing is smaller or ....?

I am in the same boat with my 3rd grade ds. We are using Cheerful Cursive to correct some things that I didn't like from BJU cursive. He too struggles with the large font, but we are working through it quickly to get to the part where the font size shrinks down. We plan to just work through it the best we can, and I agreed to not be too picky if the letters are not quite perfect at this point.

Can he do his lessons on different paper? Maybe he can just use regular notebook paper.

Just a thought that popped in my head, my oldest is 8 so no where near where you are. :)
