posts involving LHTH. Just wondering how many, besides me, are actually using this curriculum now?

Dusty, I know there are lots of moms using this program. It is the oldest of all the HOD programs and one of the most popular. I have found that the board runs in phases. You'll see one or another program getting lots of hits and then it will quiet down when others jump in sharing about their experiences with another program. I hope this post brings some LHTH veterans out!

I am using it partly with my 4 yr. old; next year I will use it fully with her again next year as her little sister joins in. She really likes it and it is easy to do.

My daughter still asks to do it...does that count?!!!! :D

Actually, we just started LHFHG with my 5 year old, but she frequently requests (and I say yes!) to do the "dramatic play/bible activity" portions of Little Hands, especially the Adam and Eve in the garden one.

I'm also using LHTH! :D I'm using it with Allison, my 4 yo, but my 2 yo tags along with us. He LOVES the fingerplays, Bible stories, dramatic parts, Tape Day  . Anything that involoves writing, he isn't getting yet and usually just leaves us. He can scribble...and will figure writing out soon enough. (He's only 2!)

I'm planning to review our week later today. (I actually did last week, too.) So maybe you'll get to "see" others doing LHTH on the Week-in-Review post. I know that Stephanie (Samuel'smommy) has great posts of doing LHTH with her little guy.

We'll be finishing up LHTH in a couple of months with my 5 yo and starting it again in the fall with my 3 yo. We've loved it! The 3yo (who has been tagging along the last few years) is looking forward to doing it "all by his big self".

We've used it twice now with sons 2 and 3 and are gearing up to do it with son number 4 (who just turned 3)! I'm so excited for him, but sad to know it will be my last go-round with it! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

I'm using LHTH with my 3 year old. We just started with him about 2 weeks ago and we are loving it! It is so much fun!! My 5 yo joins in too just because it has so many great activities! She does everything with us and has lots of fun. She just finished LHFHG and started Beyond today!! We're doing LHTH about 3 days a week with all of the younger student options and will be using it again with the older AND younger student options when my middle is 5 and youngest is 3, hopefully.
Momma to my 4 sweeties:

DD 6 - LHFHG

We're almost done! This was our first HOD program and it was a very good fit. I started last summer with ds 5 as kindergarten and will finish up in just about 5 weeks (longer than it seems). Then after a 3 week spring break and travel vacation, we're jumping right into LHFHG. Can hardly wait for the added material. I have littler ones up and coming so I'm keeping this guide on the shelves for a couple years and will do it again with my twin girls when they're 4. They have been tagging along at 2 and like the finger plays the best! My ds 5 is ready for more. I just have to "keep the momentum" at the end of a program/school year.

We both have learned so much about the Bible especially. I've shared before that many times the short Bible story caused me to dive deeper into the Word in my private time just to understand what was happening better, look up in commentaries etc. I felt I needed to understand better (especially around the time of the Kings and the Captivities) in order to teach, even though I really didn't need to add to the lesson. I just felt better knowing myself. It was a time of great growth for me. (I should post this in the testimonies area)

I hope everyone else is having a great spring with LHTH. We love it.
