Igniting your Writing

Post by butterfly113 » Fri Feb 20, 2009 12:07 pm

Is it necessary to use this with Preparing Hearts, or are the writing lessons in Preparing enough?

We have found the creative writing in Preparing to be enough for the age group (8-10). I, too, had considered adding this, but I am so glad that we didn't.

This link may be of help to you, as it addresses how the writing is taught within the Preparing Hearts guide:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2804

The only reason to add Igniting Your Writing to Preparing Hearts would be if you have an older student (grade 6+) using Preparing, who is a good writer and an independent worker that needs a bit more of a challenge in the writing department. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
