Preparing Hearts: How much time is spent...

Post by butterfly113 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 12:21 pm

I am wondering how much time it takes each day to do all the wonderful stuff EXCEPT for Math and R&S English?

So it would include all the activities, Bible, Science, History, Literature, narrations, dictations, poetry, DITHOR, reading all the wonderful books etc... just NOT English and Math...

thanks

I'd say about 3 to 3 1/2 hours or so - at least at our house! :D

I agree!! Math takes us around 20 minutes each day to do (with a mathy kiddo) at the Singapore 3B/4A Level. It would be 30 min. a day with a non-mathy kiddo. English takes us about 10-15 minutes each day (at the Rod and Staff English 3 level). The time goes up for Rod and Staff 4 to 15 min. a day with another 5-10 min. of written work. :D As the year has progressed and my kiddos have hit their stride, the time needed to complete Preparing Hearts has gone down considerably!

Blessings,
Carrie
