Nooooooo.........., !!!!

Post by MamaMary » Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:02 am

It's finally here! Order day! I discipline myself to take my shower, put my make up on, poof my hair, get dressed, have my coffee and protein supplement, spend time in prayer and then I come on here, credit card in hand, breath coming in short fast gasps, big smile plastered on my face, cart full and realize you don't take AMERICAN EXPRESS!?! :? Of coarse, that is the credit card my husband left me.

Patience is a virture, that I am obviously working on!

Well, you'll just have to call him and have him give you other cc numbers on a hard line, of course!

I poured through this last night and it is the best thing I have seen in a long time. It's got fantastic plans!!!!

No worries, though. They ship fast!

I feel your pain, MamaMary! That's how life works sometimes, isn't it? I'm very proud of you for exercising patience. Sending you warm thoughts and a gentle hug to hold you until you CAN order. You can make it!

Mary,

I'm so sorry we don't accept American Express. :( We do take Visa and Discover though!

My husband checked the board this morning and said, "I can't believe moms get this excited to order!" I said, "Oh honey, you have no idea what hoops we go through mentally before we are finally ready to order! And then, once we've finally found a peace in our decision, we want the product here yesterday!"

He just shook his head. Men, don't get the thrill of shopping, do they!?! Well, here's hoping you'll get to order today, and we'll do our part to get it to you ASAP!

Blessings,
Carrie

Well..., I just spoke to "Papa"( ) He laughingly and lovingly told me I'd have to wait. He's a transportation deputy and drives all over the state of Florida. In order for him to get my credit card info, he'd have to pull over and get OUT of the van to get his wallet because of the gun belt. (He's not gonna do that, SHUCKS  ) I'm gonna have to wait until he gets home. (between 8-10pm)

You have got me laughing out loud here! I'm just imagining that conversation with hubbie, about the whole holster thing and pulling over... very funny! Here's to hoping time goes quickly until dear hubbie rolls in!

Yeah, as I thought about it, I know HE was thinking I'd lost my mind to even suggest it. I loved what Carrie wrote though. Once we've invested all that time and prayer then it's EXCITING!

It cracks me up that 11 years after I started homeschooling, I "still" get EXCITED about curriculum and homeschooling my children. What a GREAT life! :D

We are all blessed to be able to do this AND to teach them who God is at the same time. 8)
