Bigger used with a 6th grader

Just curious. Have any of you started HOD using Bigger with this old of a child knowing that your child would not even come close to finishing up the History cycle before highschool? Is it very important to finish up the history cycle before highschool? Has Bigger with extensions been challenging enough for a 6th grader?

I just followed Carries link to read also!!

I found that a post in that link by water2wine was broken that she posted to what Carrie posted on another thread...oh my gosh I hope you are still with me on that!!!! The link in water2wines post was missing a character so I wanted to post the corrected link for that post that leads to some really good recommendations by Carrie.
