And all I was doing was looking at BHFG and organizing all my want to stuff around it. My books came today to be able to do full on DITHR. That was very exciting. I got them all together and it is so organized. I feel so well equipped now!

I read through a lot of the Proverbs study and I am so excited about that. What I am finding is that instead of adding everything I thought I would I am really seeing that the things I wanted covered already are over and over again. That is such a great feeling! I am so used to finding the holes when I look ahead. It is so refreshing to find so much more when you were already very satisfied. And I realized something more. For so long I had been searching for that something I could not put my finger on. I finally realized what it was, glue. I needed th glue to link together and simplify, yet strengthen all that was in my heart to give my children.

This is the first time I looked ahead and got even more excited instead of feeling trapped and bogged down. It just keeps getting better the deeper I look at what we are actually using. I can't wait for Monday!

I just had to share it with someone that would understand. And I know the HOD moms are the happy moms!:D

SO happy for you water2wine! I can relate. After being 4 weeks into our HOD journey, our homeschool is more fulfilling than it has been in the first 3 years since we started! I am just sad to think that I could have been doing this from the beginning instead of floundering around out there in the big wide world of curriculum!

I can totally relate. I am using Little Hearts now and I get so excited to plan each week. I already have the Beyond manual and that excites me too. I could spend all day looking over it. I'm so glad you have found what you have been looking for.

Sharing your joy I am a notorious mid-year-curriculum-switcher/tweaker, because I have bought so many things I thought would be "it", and they just weren't! HOD has met and exceeded my expectations-I would not trade my Bigger for anything

i have been using Carries stuff since Little hearts... Before that I used B4friar. I floundered around on my own for a few weeks than went to an overwhelming homeschool confrence.

My friend Di helped me decide in the car ride to the Confrence what I wanted... then I went form booth to booth looking for it no one had what I Had decided on, and not finding my "Ideal". UNTILL I found Heart of Dakota. Then Carrie let me grill her on her books for over 30 min till I was completely satisfied this was what I was looking for. When I decided to buy the books, that is when I realized I had been talking to the author!
