Hi all. I just posted a HI, I'm new post a few minutes ago. I am pretty sure that on Monday, I'm going to start in on Lesson 17 with my kids. We just finished week 16 of MFW Adventures, and I am going to give it a solid go for a few weeks, not making a big deal about it to my kids, but keeping it low key. I'm so excited! But I wanted to ask, for my 8 year old girl, I plan to keep her english (Primary Language Lessons -Serl), math, and spelling the same, because we are happy with those items. Do I need to add anything else to make it work well for her? She is my top notch student, very bright, artistic, applies herself, is an excellent reader and writer. Thanks for any help!

Hi Patience! I'm so excited for you to start next week!

I think everything in Beyond will be great for her, but I would add DITHOR Level 2/3. You could also start cursive with her if you wanted - or not. We are doing Beyond now for the second time with our second child and loving it - it's good to have you here!
In Christ,
Julie

Thank you Julie! We're 3 days in and all is going beautifully. I love HOD. I wish I had tried it earlier. I am going to add DITHR, and just ordered a bunch of books through HOD and the library to get us all set to go. Thank you for your help and suggestions!

That's awesome, Patience! I love it when you get into starting HOD and can see it's going to fit like a glove - YAHOO!
