Has anyone read any additional Burgess books to their kids other than the ones in LHFHG?
I like to go in order in series type things. Am I/Are my kids missing anything by skipping some of the books?
FYI http://www.abebooks.com has most of them for $1 a piece plus media mail shipping (used)
Thanks for the input!

You are not "missing" anything by following the order in LHFHG. However, we also read other Burgess books because my children love them. They feel like they know these characters, so we enjoy adding others in at bedtime from time to time. I don't allow them to read ahead in the books used in the program though, I want those stories to be fresh when they come to them in their lessons.mrsrandolph wrote:Has anyone read any additional Burgess books to their kids other than the ones in LHFHG?
