I am looking into this curriculum - possibly - for next year. My girls will be 7 and 9 - in 2nd and 4th grade. Does this program really cover enough for a 4th grader with the Extension Pack? Has anyone done this or another guide with kids of multiple ages who can give me some advice?? It all seems so wonderful - I just can't decide how to go about it all. Thanks!!

I am using Bigger with 3rd and 5th grade students. We are using the extension pack to 'beef' it up, but I honestly think it would have been challenging and interesting enough without it. It will depend on your dc's abilities and interests, but I think you would be fine to combine it with a 2nd and 4th grader. Y&ou'll just need to be sure you place them properly in Math, LA, and Handwriting (the left side of the plans). Here is the placement chart to check out:

I wanted to pop in and say hi and welcome!

I'm using Bigger this year with my 8 yo and we are absolutely LOVING this program!!

The placement chart that the pp linked you to is so good at telling you where your kids should be. Keep in mind as you go through that though that HOD makes it so easy to meet your child where they are with reading and math and you can combine for everything else. If you want to use the extension pack for your 9 yo, that gives her extra readings to do for history and science independently that ups the level of those subjects.
There are lots of moms on here who have used or are using Bigger. You could check out the Week-in-Review Threads for a glimpse into some days with Bigger.
