Does anyone add this in to their regular math work? I also wonder which level would be best for a child getting reading to do 2A level work.

I use the Singapore Challenging Word Problems in the summer. I use them a grade behind. For example, if I just finished 1A and 1B, I would use the Challenging Word Problems 1 that summer.
