OT: Working Audiobooks into HOD day

(I hope Carrie does not mind me posting this which may be considered a little off-topic and not specifically HOD related. I have actually given up spending time on other hs boards, and made a promise to the Lord a little over a month ago that I would stay away from other HS forums for a while. )

Anyway, a week or so ago, someone mentioned setting up a little audio book station and working that into their HOD day (My3sons, was that you?). This really struck me as such a neat idea. I have access to a wonderful inter-loan library system, so I think I would have access to lots of media...

If you and your dc listen to audio books, can you share some of your favorites? And can you also discuss how you work this into your day?

Thanks!

I wouldn't say that we fit audio books into our HOD time, but we do fit them into our overall day. We tend to listen to audiobooks whenever we are in the car (makes for a very quiet and peaceful trip). We also download the audiobooks onto the kids mp3 players and they can listen to them during their quiet times, etc...

marypoppins,

Here's a great link to a previous, very thorough, discussion on this topic:

Happy reading (or should I say listening) :D !

Blessings,
Carrie
