When we started HOD we had been doing RightStart math, so I just kept doing it. Well... finances have kept me from buying RS B, even though we LOVED it. So I decided to get Singapore 1A/1B and the Beyond... guide for our math, since I know we'll be donig Beyond.... in a little while since we're on Unit 25 of LHFHG. Anyway, the math is FABULOUS!!!! The activities are great, DD is learning a lot, she LOVES it! We've been doing the math for about 2 weeks now and we're already finsihed with the 4th week of math in Beyond... because DD asks for it multiple times a day, and insists on doing it on weekends too. If any of you are on the fence about the math in HOD, don't be, because it is so wonderful! Not only does she love it, but she's really learning a lot too. It's awesome seeing a barely 5 year old doing these additions problems like a pro. We're finally doing all HOD now and I couldn't be happier!

HOORAY! I am so glad that you've gotten a chance to try Singapore with the HOD math activities. It's been a hit at our house too. My little guy loves any of the activities that use "snacks" as manipulatives!
