Thinking Carrie will be OK with this off topic post. This is a great Thanksgiving activity, making cards for the troops. :D Here is the info on how to get them there after you get them made. It is now allowed again to do this used to be they would return it if it was not addressed to a specific soldier. Now you can send them to any soldier through this program.

From Tuesday through Dec. 10, the public can send their greeting cards, with adequate postage and a return address,
to Holiday Mail for Heroes, P.O. Box 5456, Capitol Heights, Md. 20791-5456.
To speed delivery, mailers should not send care packages, money or any inserts, including glitter.

Hope others will join me in this!

Thanks for sharing this. Last year, Katie and I made enough cards and sent goodies for the unit my brother was in charge of in Korea. This year, he is in the states!!!!! So this will be great to do instead.

This is a wonderful idea. Thanks for posting it. When I was a classroom teacher, we did this as a class for the soldiers in the Persian Gulf. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
