Good Day

Okay, so we are dreadfully behind with LHFHG, but enjoying it nevertheless! I am still trying to figure out how to structure our homeschooling days with a very active 1.5 year old and a 4.5 year old that gets pretty sleepy during the afternoons!

Just wanted to report that we had an awesome school day with LHFHG! We finally got around to making the really cool and colorful Egyptian collars, and my sweet daughter soooooo enjoyed this activity! We sat down together to make our own collars and had time to discuss Joseph, Potiphar and his wife. We were able to talk about the importance of not lying, working hard no matter our circumstances, and how God takes care of us in any situation.
Praising HOD and LHFHG in teaching character and life lessons! Thank you Carrie and family!

Happy Hodie,
Candice

Candice,
Behind? We just did this activity yesterday. I thought we were finally catching up. :?

Andy remembered the story from last year - LHTH. So I asked him questions about what was going to happen next and he remembered! Thanks Carrie for a program that really sticks!! Andy loved this activity too! He wanted to make a collar for Callie. They put on their collars and got chairs for their thrones. I wished I would of grabbed my camera for that one.

Well it sounds to me like you are doing great! You have little ones and they are learning and enjoying. You are ahead of the game by being at LHFHG at 4. To me it sounds like you are doing great and taking the time to get the most from each lesson. Don't you love the character training in HOD. I love it. Whenever we have a heart issue it seems like HOD has the fix for us in the lesson that day. I love it.

Enjoy your babies! :D

Candice,

I'm so glad that you had a good day! :D It's a privilege to be able to raise these little ones for the Lord even on the "not-so-great" days - that are much more challenging. But, it is an extra blessing when the day goes well, isn't it? So glad you shared! :D (Mine happened to fall in the raining, muddy, van died in town, lots of crying...category. But we're all warm and dry now...and the kids are quiet and in bed...and I'm looking forward to tomorrow! :D )

Candice, I want to tell you that I think you are doing a WONDERFUL job! Your little Danielle is only 4 years old and you are creating some amazing memories with your daughter. I am so glad you had a good day my friend. Know that there will be good days and bad, good weeks and bad, good years and bad, but it's not the stellar days or low ones that she will remember. She will just know that you loved her enough to dedicate your life to pouring yourself and your Lord into her little heart. You are doing the most important job ever! (((Big Hugs)))

Candice,

I'm celebrating with you here on the good day! :D It's so important to celebrate the great days, as they pull us through the ones when we don't feel like schooling!

Thanks for sharing! 8)

Blessings,
Carrie
