I just received the rest of the books to complete the program today. We ended up doing school this afternoon. Wow, the guide is awesome! Truly open and go and no searching for what else to do in the lesson. Everything is very well laid out; I know exactly what to do. Thanks so much Carrie for a wonderful curriculum guide. My daughter seemed to enjoy most of the books. I asked her if she liked this better than the other one and she said, "A little." So that is encouraging. Anyway, for just myself, I love it! The Reading Lesson went well too and my dd enjoyed playing the games on the cd that came with the book. I love how open and go this book is too. Now that's more like it!
I just wanted to share my excitement in finally finding something that works for us (that works for me especially).

Here's a ((high-five)) from Kansas!

I'm so glad that you like the new guide. It's such a great feeling to be able to look forward to your school days as the mom/teacher! (In fact, I'd say it's rather essential!

) You'll have to use the weekly check-in and keep us updated on how it's going. I love to hear about everyone's journey!

Yeah! So excited for you. And I am big on having it work for me first since I have to teach it.

Glad you are loving it!

Julie,
I'm so glad that the guides are working for you and that you're able to open and go (which is our intention)!

I had to smile at your daughter's response, as there will be a cautious adjustment period for your kiddos whenever you change curriculums or start something new! My oldest son never wants change, no matter how much he may be disliking something in the day-to-day.
Blessings,
Carrie
