Congratulations, April!! What a precious new little girl...I just love looking at those sweet little faces (and the smell of those little baby heads.. ) I'm so glad that everything went well for you. What a quick delivery! Good thing you were planning on having her at home. That would have been quite the shock to someone who wasn't prepared.

Now, I'm praying that you'll get the much-needed rest that any new mama needs, and that you're family will continue to adjust well to your newest family member. Enjoy!

A beautiful baby girl! I am so glad you were able to deliver safely, even without assistance. I know some moms have done that (and may even prefer it) but it's a scary thought for me because our births have always been a bit unusual...problems with the child/delivery, etc. I am so happy that God protected you all throughout the birth. Enjoy your new baby girl!

Congratulations!!!

WOW! What a birth! I can't believe that it happened so quickly! My hubs would have been totally freaked out! Praising God that everyone is healthy and doing well. What an experience to be able to do it yourself like that. Like InHistiming, I would have probably died had I done that (had complications after both Joshua and Lillian...with her it took them over an hour to get my bleeding under control and they had to use two differnent meds to get that done and still were undecided if I needed a blood transfusion or go into the OR). God is amazing in how He knew what you needed to connect with that precious little girl.

Wow! That's incredible! I can't even imagine having a baby so quickly and easily! I average 20 hours of labor usually..what a blessing! Congratulations, and I love your website

I have really quick deliveries too - in fact, our doctor has never gotten her "scrubs" on in time for them! What a beautiful blessing your baby is! Take care of yourself now, and rest up as much as you can. May God continue to bless you and your home!

Rebekah is so beautiful and her birth story is wonderful. What a wonderful story you can share with her as she grows.

Just take care of yourself and enjoy this time. Soak it up because it goes by so quickly. I still wish I could go back to my 2 year old being a newborn. Remember that Rebekah IS school right now. There's nothing better than real life to teach from.
