Question on Hymns for a Kids heart and substituting volumes

Our Hymns for a Kids Heart got scratched up. I have no idea how we managed this I pretty much had it under lock and key but you know how it goes sometimes. But the good news is I have other books in the series and was wondering if using them in place of the book scheduled for Bigger will still work or will I be missing something. I have Volume 2 which has the same title and Passion Hymns. Could I maybe just substitute in from these? It seems like it would work to me but just don't want to mess up the magic of Bigger. :D Any advice? Thanks in advance.

You could easily sub another one of those volumes in for Bigger's... music and still not miss out on the magic of Bigger...! The corresponding music in HOD's other guides couldn't be replaced very well since they match the memory verse, theme, etc. But in Bigger..., the purpose of the music is for the children to learn wonderful classic hymns, the story behind the writer of each hymn, and make a personal connection with the hymns. Those purposes could be fulfilled using a different Hymns for a Kid's Heart volume just as well. :D

In Christ,
Julie

Thank you my fellow HODie lifer. I was thinking that was the case but just wanted to make sure. We just got back this week into Bigger and it is my fresh air. I do not want to mess it up. :D Maybe God has some Hymns for us in particular this year. I'll just look at them and maybe pick between the two book. Thanks!
