We read this as part of a "fun" summer thing we did, and I thought it would be good for the myth genre for the older boys. We used the one called, "Gilgamesh the Hero" and it has around 100 pages. It was nice in that it didn't get into the more adult issues that the ancient story covers, and it was easy for the boys to understand. We did it as a read aloud, but I think my 12 year old would be about the right age to read it alone.
