Is there dictation assignments in Preparing? If not, how is spelling covered.

Yes there is dictation in Preparing!

Hi Polly. Welcome! Yes there is dictation in Preparing and that is how spelling is handled. There are four different levels so you can find the best fit for your child. HTH :D

You might want to let your child look at the dictation levels. I was surprised a few days ago when my son was looking at the book with me & said that he wanted to try a harder level of dictation than I had planned.
