Little Pilgrim's Big Journey became one of my DS6's new favorite books when it came out with Little Hearts last year. He knows all the characters and loves the story so much I had to buy the rest of the series!

With the new Pilgrim's Progress in Preparing Hearts this year, I just wanted to share how students get such a wonderful exposure and immersion in Pilgrim's Progress through all the different levels in HOD:

Little Hearts - Little Pilgrim's Big Journey
Preparing Hearts - The Pilgrim's Progress: A Poetic Retelling
CTC Level of DTHR - Little Pilgrim's Progress
World History - Pilgrim's Progress Audiodrama, All-in-One Curriculum and Reader

So from K/1st through high school students get immersed in this wonderful allegory of Christian life.

Just one of the many things I love about HOD!

We enjoyed Pilgrim’s Progress too!

We really liked Little Pilgrim’s Progress, which includes his wife following later on for the same journey for the second half of the book.

I’ve had two use the Pilgrim’s Progress for High School that I purchased from HOD, and one more will use it next year. It is a wonderful study with thoughtful questions that they fill in.

Thanks for posting!

Ladies,

I am so excited that you are enjoying the varying levels of Pilgrim's Progress scheduled along the way in HOD! :D Other than the Bible, Pilgrim's Progress is one of the most important works for kiddos to immerse themselves in and read again and again. It is an allegory with so many layers that speak to God's love, the coming judgement, a Christian's walk through life's pitfalls, and the journey to heaven. :D I am so glad that your kiddos, whether they are younger or older, are getting to experience Christian's journey and learn lessons that will help them all throughout their lives! :D My boys have learned so much through reading Pilgrim's Progress too! Plus, it is a bedrock book in a Charlotte-Mason style education!

Blessings,
Carrie
