Hi!
We just started CTC and are really enjoying it so far. Thanks so much for such a wonderful program. My oldest is using the extensions alongside it. I noticed the guide shows the Audio of Cat of Bubastes as the second book but the book pack online says the second selection is A Cry From Egypt. Is this just broken up over the same time period as Bubastes was at one point? Or would Tirzah be a better option if it wasn’t already read. My oldest daughter is 11 and the one reading the book if that helps.

Re: CTC Extension Books
If you purchased new from HOD contact them for a schedule for A Cry From Egypt. It appears they have subbed out a resource, but have not updated the guide. They provide a copyrighted schedule of the new resource when you purchase from them.

Re: CTC Extension Books
Unfortunately, I didn’t buy these new. I borrowed the set from a friend actually. I’m sure I can come up with a schedule for the book though. That shouldn’t be too hard. I need to see if any other extensions have changed since then. A Cry From Egypt looks really good!

Re: CTC Extension Books
I believe that's the only Extension book from CTC that has changed, because Cat of Bubastes has now been scheduled in the high school guides. A Cry from Egypt would have directly replaced it, not changing the schedule for any other books, so whatever book you choose to use there can be scheduled over the same time as the Cat of Bubastes CDs were, without affecting anything else.
Also remember that you could also skip it all together, if Tirzah looks too meaty for them to read in the time allotted when you look at the schedule. (Remembering that CoB was to be listened to. You could choose to read Tirzah, but as we've discussed on FB, it is a longish read to add on top of everything else. )
Blessings,

Re: CTC Extension Books
Thank you! I need to sit down and break up the page counts for Tirzah and decide which one to do now.
