How to Become a Dynamic Speaker

Post by strohlbug » Wed Sep 06, 2017 7:01 pm

My daughter is in week 2, and we have been unable to view any of the links from this book. Our copy is a 2012 copyright. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there another source to view from?

Cheryl,

I am so glad that your daughter is getting a chance to use the US2 guide. We pray that it may be a blessing to her and to your family. The speech box in the US2 guide explains which links to follow in the How to Become a Dynamic Speaker book and which links to omit. Since the students have so many primary source documents in the history portion of the plans and also have many primary source excerpts of speeches right within the book How to Become a Dynamic Speaker, the links aren't really needed. This is why we list in the US2 to plans to either omit or optionally listen to most of the links. If you just follow the plans you shouldn't have any trouble.

Blessings,
Carrie

We did just have one that was supposed to work that didn't and therefore wasn't optional. It was a dramatic presentation of Patrick Henry's speech. I just searched youtube and found one that was good, not sure if it was the one he was supposed to watch or not, but it worked.
