RTR- IEW Medieval History edition

Hello- I'm hoping someone can advise me. I will be using Resurrection to Reformation for my 11 year old. Before I realized the discrepancy on the editor of IEW Medieval, I bought a used copy of the 4th edition Teacher's Manual. I ordered a 4th edition Student Book from Amazon, but was shipped a 3rd edition. Based on feedback from the RTR Facebook group, I've discovered that the RTR guide is obviously not written for 4th edition IEW. My question is this: what edition of IEW was the RTR guide written to accompany? Thank you!

The RTR Teacher's Guide I have says 3rd edition. We used a 3rd edition student book so the page numbers would match up for ds but I had a used 2nd edition teacher book. The page numbers for me didn't always match up but the instruction seemed the same based on the student book and Carrie's instructions. Hope this helps.
